Built to endure.
Refined to inspire.
In 1910, when the Peninsula was still defined by orchards and open land, a Craftsman home rose on Bryant Street. It was built with intention: hand-selected river stone, exposed timber beams, and the kind of proportions that reward attention. More than a century later, it still commands the corner with quiet authority.
Designated Category 4 Historic by the City of Palo Alto, the home carries architectural significance while preserving the flexibility to evolve. This is not a museum piece. It is a living residence, thoughtfully preserved and continuously refined by owners who understood the difference between restoration and reinvention.
The original details remain: coffered ceilings, a brick fireplace that anchors the living room, stained glass transoms that filter afternoon light into something almost sacred. What has been added over the decades was done with care, never competing with the original character, always in service of it.
